Certificate II in Metal Roofing and Cladding (Plumbing)

This course will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to work effectively in the highly demanded plumbing and services sector. You will learn skills to fabricate and install roof and wall cladding, roof drainage component and storage, along with the disposal of storm water. You will also learn how to apply safe work practices, read plans and calculate plumbing and services material and use plumbing hand and power tools. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 15 core units and 9 elective units.

Future Pathways

Apprenticeships are available in commercial (large construction), domestic and maintenance areas. The course is strongly supported by large and small employers as well as the leading Group Apprenticeship Scheme employers. The industry consists of self-employed tradespeople, as well as medium to large contractors.
